Sponsor Content Policy
A Sponsored Crown is clearly labeled paid visibility. Approval means the exact sponsor profile and destination passed CrownTheMap review; it is not an endorsement or proof of a connection to a country.
What an application may contain
- One business or organization display name of 2–40 characters.
- One optional plain-text short line of up to 80 characters.
- One exact public HTTPS destination, including its reviewed path and query.
No logo, image, file, HTML, Markdown, script, favicon, remote preview, or upload is accepted.
Prohibited sponsors and destinations
- Phishing, malware, scams, deceptive redirects, impersonation, or materially misleading identity.
- Political campaigning, parties, candidates, election influence, or state propaganda.
- Hate, harassment, discrimination, extremist promotion, or dehumanizing content.
- Adult sexual content or services.
- Illegal products or services, or destinations designed to evade applicable rules.
Exact review and suspension
Approval is bound to one country, the exact public copy, the exact normalized destination, legal buyer identity, buyer location, business assertion, and required evidence. Any material change needs a new application and review. CrownTheMap may reject, suspend, or revoke unsafe access while preserving the audit record. Voting and rank never change because of a sponsor decision.
Current availability
Public intake, sponsor outbound links, reporting, and payment remain controlled by separate gates. No report control is shown before a real Crown and its suspension path both exist. Review takes no payment and does not reserve a Crown. See the Sponsored Crown terms, the Founding Round rules, and the sponsor privacy note.
